I would like to see more information i.e. will they alert you to the
presence of visitors? How much outdoor exercise do they need?
With all that fur, do they drip water all over after drinking?
What is the level of activity within the house? Many white dogs get
tear stained or eye goop gets tangled into the fur.
Is this a problem with this breed? Your dogs look very happy and I think
your ads are quite endearing. Do you raise the puppies in your

Went to the internet to research shih tzu's temperament as we are considering
a new family member since our children will be off to college soon. In the course
of researching, came across information on cotons, and 'fell' for the breed. Though
for the most part they are not within our means, we would provide a wonderful
loving home for an orphan, or possibly a mix should anyone know of such a coton.
If it's meant to be, it will happen. Obviously many are blessed to be owners

Gavey, short for Gavroche, was born in late December and I have an

day with 13 Cotons and their owners today! The breeder of
my future puppy gathered a group of her past pups and
others for a wonderful Coton Get-Together in N. Calif. It
was really a treat seeing all these wonderful *powder puffs*

We just started looking at Coton's as a possible addition to our family.
We had a Golden Retriever for over 10 years and just had to put her down.
We really miss her and will get another golden someday.
In the meantime, we have been looking at Bischon Frise's and Coton's.
We have heard that the temperment of the Coton's is not as active as the
Bishon's, but just as smart and friendly.
Do you recommend other breeders? If so, is there a good breeder in
Northern California that you would suggest we contact.

We are the folks who adopted Lacey about 18 months ago.
She was originally sent to New York. All is well except
she seems to have some difficulty holding her bladder till
we get home. Is this unusual? Any ideas? She is home
from about 7:30 AM till about 5:30 PM. Never has trouble
when we're home. Also doesn't like being left in carrier
or hotel rooms. Has chewed door trip and carpet. Any ideas?
Otherwise she is very smart and a great addition.

I finally brought my own little Coton girl home on Sept. 21.
Her name is Chantilly Lace...we call her Lacey for short. I cannot begin to
